We can all agree, smoked salmon is never a bad idea. So when it comes to a bumper crop of homegrown dill, it's no wonder we turn to savory-fish to compliment the cooling, fresh dill.
This version takes a different spin on the classic "bagels and lox". Stack smoked fish on a crunchy cucumber with a little cream cheese, and add your prized dill to top it all off.

Ingredients:
- 4 sprigs fresh dill
- 1 cucumber
- 2 oz smoked salmon
- Cream cheese
- Pepper to taste

Instructions:
- Cut the cucumber into 1/4" slices and set them out individually on a platter.
- Spread the cream cheese evenly on the cucumber slices.
- Add a piece of smoked salmon folded on top of each cucumber slice.
- Top each with fresh dill.
- Add pepper to taste.

Buying dill from the store is hardly an option after tasting homegrown harvests. Do yourself (and your smoked salmon) a favor and treat it with the fresh stuff.
