How to Harvest Radishes

Radishes are easy to grow, and will taste sweet with a little kick if harvested at the right time. Check out our tips below to enjoy the best quality homegrown roots.

How to Harvest Radishes:

  1. After about 3 weeks of growth, when the radish root is peeking out of the soil, it's time to harvest!
  2. Harvest radishes by pinching the root at the base of the stem and pulling upwards.
  3. The greens and roots are both edible and especially delicious if harvested at the right time. If picked too late, the spiciness may increase, but the greens and roots can be cooked to relieve the bite.
  4. Make your own, homegrown Radish Lime Slaw
