What We're All About
SeedSheets is a home for practical garden, pest, and home-project advice from people who have tried it themselves.
We cover what to plant, what’s eating it, and what to fix or style around the house, all in a way you can follow without a second tab open.
Meet the Team
Sarah Martinez is our lead author and horticulturist. She has been diagnosing root rot, nutrient deficiencies, and pest outbreaks in homes, gardens, and greenhouses since 2013.
Rebecca Torres is our DIY tinkerer. With 8+ years of making, building, and carpentry training, she handles fences, raised beds, and everything that wobbles in between.
Marcus Chen takes the pest questions. He usually asks you to identify the bug before reaching for anything, so you solve the real problem instead of guessing at a fix.
Daniel Mercer covers home improvement. A certified construction manager who started on a framing crew, he has run residential remodels of all sizes, and he is the first to say when a job needs a pro.
Lisa Harper writes about decor. With a background in Interior Design and Landscape Architecture and over 15 years of experience, she shares realistic ideas for rentals and regular budgets.
Harry Collins keeps gardening approachable for beginners. He holds a Landscape Management degree and has grown in balcony containers and large perennial borders alike.
What You Can Count On

- We keep it clear. Plain steps, honest trade-offs, no jargon.
- We fix our mistakes. If we get something wrong, we update the post and note the change.
