Job Description:
Are you a Boston-based foodie, obsessed with everything fresh and local? We’re looking for pro-active plant lovers to join our marketing/sales team at the Boston Public Market Seedsheet Pop-Up Shop.
This is a perfect opportunity to start an entrepreneurial side-hustle to accompany your course-load or other jobs. We’re hiring 4 team members to sell Seedsheets and show that everyone can grow their own edible-urban jungle.
Seedsheet Sales Associates will work directly with the core of our fast-growing startup to increase brand awareness, educate market-browsers about products, and sell Seedsheets in Boston through the fall, holidays and beyond.
Responsibilities:
#1 priority is high energy, personable, and fast ability to engage with public to pitch product, close sale, rinse and repeat.
Payment handling and inventory tracking.
Bring 100% positivity and greet each customer with a smile.
Requirements:
**No gardening experience necessary (YES, Seedsheets are that easy to grow!)
Organized, sales-driven individual
Awesome at multi-tasking and preferably passionate about plants and food!
Customer sales experience preferred
Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
Benefits:
Hourly compensation + commission, commensurate on experience
